Can't decide between baking cookies or brownies? Why choose one when you can have both! This recipe combines a rich brownie base with a classic chocolate chip cookie dough topping.
1. Start by getting two bowls, one for the brownie layer and one for cookie dough.
2. Create the brownie mixture by whisking together the eggs and sugars.
3. Then in a separately bowl melt the chocolate and butter together until smooth.
4. Mix the melted chocolate with the sugar and egg mixture.
5. Whisk both together.
6. Add the dry ingredients (cocoa powder, baking powder and flour).
7. Mix until smooth.
8. Now start making the cookie dough by mixing the melted butter and sugars.
9. Then add in an egg and vanilla extract.
10. Fold in the dry ingredients.
11. Once a cookie dough texture has formed, mix in chocolate chips.
12. Pour the brownie batter into a baking pan.
13. Dollop sections of the cookie dough on top of the brownie mixture (feel free to swirl the cookie dough into the brownies).
14. Bake for 35-40 minutes.
15. Enjoy!!!
