1. Preheat oven to 350F.
2. In a bowl, cream together your sugar, lemon zest and softened butter.
3. Then mix in the eggs, vanilla extract and lemon juice.
4. Fold in the flour and baking powder.
5. Mix until well incorporated.
6. Pour the batter into the lined baking tray (8x8 size).
7. Bake for 20 min.
8. Once it’s done baking, let it cool down completely and make the icing.
9. Pour the icing on top.
